Progress news

Progress riders did a good job with a perfect performance from triahlete Jeremy Morel at Muskoka Ironman and from Pau Romero and Javier Salamero who won in their categories at the Catalunya BTT Marathon Championship

Great performance from Progress team this weekend. French triathlete Jeremy Morel won the 70.3 Muskoka Ironman while Víctor del Corral achieved a nice 3rd place at Vitoria Half Ironman. At Catalunya BTT Marathon Championship win for Pau Romero in Sub 23 (5th overall) and 1st place for Javier Salamero in Master 50.

Progress team can’t stop giving good news! In triathlon the victory of Jeremy Morel at Muskoka 70.3 Ironman (Canada) was absolutely impressive, not only for the toughness of the race, but for having a foot finger broken. He did a good swimming sector and even better on the bike equipped with Progress wheels A-7 .

The podium from Progress rider Víctor del Corral at Vitoria’s Half Ironman was also remarkable. Good sensations on the water and also on the bike and running sector. Certainly a good preliminary for his highlighted triathlon: the Niza Ironman that is going to take place in less than two weeks.

Turning to MTB, Catalan Pau Romero from Pansalud Team caused a stir while winning Catalunya BTT Marathon Championship in Sub23 category with more than 7 minutes ahead from the second placed and he shared podium with his brother Marc Romero who finished 3rd. The fantastic performance from Pau in the 58km and +2100 climbing meters of the Catalunya BTT Marathon Championship hold in Boí’s valley let him finish 5th overall. Progress MTB wheels do their job!

In the same championship we also had an amazing performance from our Progress rider Javier Salamero that after having finished 10th overall in Pedals de Foc and best Máster 50, he won again the Catalunya BTT Marathon Championship in Máster 50. It seems that for him racing in the Pyrenees is synonym of victory.
